Dale and Jo had always wanted to start a cafe but considered their ambition to be more of a retirement dream than a new career. However, in 2016 on a family visit to the UK (they were living in Australia at the time) the couple came across a cafe in Molesey and had a chat to the owner - the dream began to take shape. Even when they flew back to Australia the dream continued to dominate their thoughts and began to become more of a reality. In July 2017, the decision to take over the cafe and move to the UK became a reality and Miss Polly Cafe opened it's doors in November 2017.
